Ryan Dardar

Ryan Dardar is a Spacecraft Lead, Commercial Civil Space LOB, and Lunar Explorations Campaign Market Segment for Lockheed Martin Corporation. In this capacity, he is responsible for leading the Corporation’s development of deep space exploration systems.

Previously, Mr. Dardar was Senior Staff Stress Lead for Lockheed Martin Corporation’s Space division on the Orion program. In that role, he was responsible for all aspects related to ensuring the structural integrity of Orion’s crew cabin structure from 2008 to 2019.

He previously served in multiple positions with Lockheed Martin Corporation’s External Tank (ET) program within Lockheed Martin Space Division. In that role, he supported the ET Return to Flight verifications, KSC integration, and launch operations from 2003 to 2008.

Throughout his career, Mr. Dardar has led several critical initiatives for Lockheed Martin Corporation, including structural qualification of Orion crew cabin structure, Orion’s mass optimization activities, and ET hail damage repairs.

Prior to joining Lockheed Martin, Mr. Dardar grew up supporting his family’s commercial fishing way of life in south Louisiana. Mr. Dardar graduated from University of New Orleans (UNO) with a Master’s Degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering (2008). He graduated from Louisiana State University (LSU) with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (2004). Mr. Dardar is an active licensed Professional Engineer with Louisiana Professional Engineering and Land Surveying Board since 2009.
