Davey Jones

David (Davey) Jones is currently the Manager of the Program Planning & Control Office within the Human Landing Systems Program at NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center. The Human Landing System (HLS) is the mode of transportation that will safely take astronauts to and from the lunar surface as part of the Artemis program. Davey’s primary role is focused on managing the Program’s budget, schedule, risk, and other programmatic functions.

Mr. Jones has served in multiple roles throughout his career, focused on the formulation of key programs and projects for Marshall including development of technology upgrades for life support systems on ISS, formulation of the Space Launch System’s (SLS) Block 1B vehicle and Exploration Upper Stage (EUS), and leading various human exploration architecture studies for the Moon and Mars.

Mr. Jones has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Alabama in Huntsville and is a veteran of the United States Navy.
