Andrew Michael
Mr. Andrew Michael graduated from Louisiana State University with a Bachelors in Civil Engineer and is a registered professional engineer in the State of Louisiana. Mr. Michael started his career at Louisiana DOTD and worked in bridge design for 15 years. He focused mostly on in-house design projects which include various bridge types such as movable bridges, railroad crossings and river crossings.
Presentation Description
Bayou Barataria Swing Span Movable Bridge Replacement ProjectWe will be discussing issues with the existing bridge and design aspects of the proposed bridge. The design portion will cover pier protection systems and swing span end reactions.
